Greg Gibson

Senior Physiotherapist

Greg is a Physiotherapist from Ireland with a passion for improving client outcomes using a collaborative patient centered approach. Greg initially graduated from Dublin City University in 2013 with a degree in Athletic Therapy and Training before going on to study Physiotherapy at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, graduating with an honors degree in 2016.

Initially Greg began working at Sports Surgery Clinic, an internationally recognized center for the treatment of sports related injuries, orthopedic issues, and biomechanical research. Here he worked and learned from a wide variety of expert clinicians and researchers and began his love for incorporating high level strength and conditioning principles with rehabilitation and returning clients to full function and performance.

Greg then worked in a private practice outside of Dublin providing musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation in a local nursing home, as well as instructing weekly Pilates and osteoporosis strengthening classes. Following this he moved to New Zealand in 2019 where he worked in Auckland Physiotherapy, a busy clinic which is based on an overall multi-disciplinary approach to patient centered care. Here he developed his pilates skills, instructing classes both matwork and reformer, and also running the general exercise rehabilitation classes.

Following this he spent a year working as a Physiotherapist in the community treating a wide variety of clients from falls prevention management, general rehabilitation post-operative to returning to work following injury. Once travel opened up again in 2022, Greg then moved to the east coast of Australia where he spent 6 months working as a locum Physiotherapist in aged care facilities.

To progress as a clinician, and to strive to improve his clients long term outcomes; Greg completed his Post-Graduate degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in Curtin University in 2023. Here he furthered his manual therapy techniques, as well as his pain management skills for persistent musculoskeletal disorders such as persistent low back and neck pain.

Outside of work Greg likes to try and practice what he preaches and stays active. He has competed nationally and internationally in athletics. His main forms of MOTION are Gaelic football, playing golf and surfing. He also enjoys getting out for a run and heading to the gym.
