Amanda Simmonds

After completing her Physiotherapy degree at Notre Dame in Fremantle, Amanda unearthed her passion for Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy while working in Private Practice. Her enthusiasm for rehabilitation was further fueled during her experiences both locally and internationally, working closely with athletes.
Upon returning from her ventures abroad, where she had the opportunity to work in Canada and New Zealand, Amanda pursued her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University. Driven by a passion for sports and a commitment to helping athletes of all levels achieve their full potential, Amanda has spent years honing her skills in diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating sports-related injuries.
Amanda's Sports Physiotherapy experience has led to Physiotherapy roles with the WACA, West Coast Fever and Netball Australia. Amanda holds roles at WAIS currently as a Performance Physiotherapists and the Performance Health Manager. Amanda is also currently the team Physiotherapist for the Artistic Swimming Australia.
Whilst Amanda enjoys managing all types of musculoskeletal & sports injuries, her clinical interest areas include knee & shoulder injuries, athletic low back pain, concussion and the female athlete. Amanda is currently completing her Graduate Certificate in Performance Health Management through the University of Canberra and AIS.
Amanda’s favourite type of MOTION include running after her two energetic young boys, swimming, skiing, and anything on the water along our beautiful West Australian coastline.
